SRQ Traffic Growth Continues With 40% Increase in October
 
Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) passenger traffic set an all-time record for the month of October with 160,327 passengers traveling through the airport.  Traffic for October 2019 was up 40% over October of 2018.  Year-to-date passenger numbers are up 41% with 1,556,328 passengers using the airport so far this year.

“We are excited to see our twentieth straight month of passenger traffic growth at SRQ.  With Allegiant and Frontier inaugural flights starting this week, we expect to continue this record-breaking growth,” said Rick Piccolo, President, CEO of the Sarasota Bradenton International Airport.

Over the past year and a half, SRQ has added 3 new airlines, Allegiant Air, Frontier Airlines, and Sun Country.  Allegiant just announced yesterday that it will serve Allentown, PA (ABE) beginning in February.   SRQ now has a total of 9 airlines providing nonstop service to 39 destinations.
