SARASOTA, Fla. Jan. 16, 2025 — Allegiant (NASDAQ: ALGT) unveiled a special addition to its fleet: a custom marine life-themed livery that celebrates Allegiant’s longstanding partnerships with Visit Sarasota County and the Bradenton Area Convention and Visitors Bureau.

The new design, wrapped on the fuselage of an Airbus A320, showcases the area’s beauty and unique marine life. It is one of only seven Allegiant aircraft featuring a special livery.

“We are excited to debut this new livery, which stands as a symbol of our collaboration with great partners who have been instrumental in Allegiant’s success as a preferred ultra-low-cost carrier in the region,” Allegiant’s Chief Commercial Officer Drew Wells said. “Working jointly with the VSC and BACVB to create an environment that incentivizes growth, we have been able to elevate the profile of the Sarasota and Bradenton area. Allegiant has quickly expanded, now serving over 832,600 passengers annually and offering more nonstop destinations from SRQ than any other carrier,” Wells added.

Since launching service at SRQ in 2018, Allegiant has expanded to 35 nonstop destinations from this airport.

"This collaboration is a powerful representation of a shared goal to make the Gulf Coast more accessible to visitors,” Visit Sarasota County’s President and CEO Erin Duggan said. “The custom design is a striking celebration of our region and Allegiant’s expanding routes from SRQ, making it easier than ever for travelers to experience the beauty and character of our destination.”

The livery incorporates Allegiant's signature livery elements, flowing ribbon encircling the fuselage, prominent logo and sunburst tail, but with a splash of colors emblematic of Florida’s pristine oceans and coastal treasures. The engine cowlings illustrate starfish and seashells, reflecting the Sarasota-Bradenton Region as a paradise for beachgoers, beachcombers and nature lovers. This livery goes beyond mere design – it embodies a tribute to the area’s stunning natural beauty and irresistible charm.

“This is just another example of how strong partnerships lead to unique and creative ideas,” The Bradenton Area Convention and Visitors Bureau’s Executive Director Elliott Falcione said. “This will no doubt enhance both our business objectives while creating intrigue in the region for potential visitors around the country.”

Allegiant serves eleven airports in Florida. Nearly 60% of the airline’s flying goes through the Sunshine State.

“It is spectacular to see the creative results of the marketing teams at Visit Sarasota County, Bradenton Area CVB, and Allegiant. This aircraft, which will be traveling nationwide, promotes the Sarasota/Bradenton area, its beaches, and the local community. The Sarasota Bradenton International Airport is proud to base this exquisitely designed aircraft at our facility and extends its gratitude to Allegiant and the local destination marketing organizations for their collaboration in creating this masterpiece," stated Rick Piccolo, President, CEO of the Sarasota Bradenton International Airport.

Unlike most other airlines, Allegiant operates an "out-and-back" network, with exclusively nonstop flights - meaning each day's flying starts and ends at a base, rather than connecting traffic through busy hub airports. The aircraft is scheduled to be based at Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) in Florida.

Flight days, times and the lowest fares can be found only at Allegiant.com.
