Robert Furr brings over 30 years of experience in the aviation industry and currently serves as Senior Vice President, Engineering, Planning & Facilities at Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ). He joined the Sarasota Manatee Airport Authority in 2025, following leadership roles at Tampa International Airport (TPA) and Orlando International Airport (MCO).
Robert holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and a Bachelor of Architecture from Florida A&M University. He is a licensed Architect and Interior Designer in the state of Florida and maintains national certification through the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).
