Kimberly Nicholls joined the Sarasota Manatee Airport Authority in October 2025 overseeing Human Resources and is responsible for both the strategic vision and operational excellence of the workforce, talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, compensation and total rewards, learning and development, employee and labor relations, and organizational culture.  She has more than twenty-five (25) years’ experience in municipal government administration with a passion for building high-performing teams and a strong background in strategic planning. 

Kim holds the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) designation, is a Certified Public Pension Trustee (CPPT), and holds the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Certification from the University of South Florida.  She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Barry University.  Kim is a member of the Florida Airports Council and serves on the Finance & Administration Committee.
