Policy

It is the policy of the Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (“SRQ”) that no person shall, on the grounds of race, color, national origin, gender, age, creed/religion, or disability be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program or activity conducted at SRQ. This policy is consistent with the protections against unlawful discrimination provided by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and related statutes, regulations, and executive orders.

 

Complaint Procedure

Any person who believes they have been aggrieved by any discriminatory practice at SRQ should report the complaint within 180 days of the alleged discriminatory event to:

A copy of any written complaints received by SRQ will be forwarded to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) within 15 days of receipt. Alternatively, a complaint may be filed directly with the FAA at:

A form has been developed to facilitate the collection of information relevant to complaints of discrimination at SRQ. The form may be accessed here.

Federal regulations concerning unlawful discrimination are available for review in the office of the Title VI Coordinator located on the third floor of the main terminal at SRQ.
