SRQ Starts 2024 with an Increase in Passengers

For the month of January 395,993 passengers traveled through the Sarasota Bradenton International Airport, a 5% increase compared to 377,617 passengers in January 2023.  The 12-month activity through January 2024 totaled 4,340,778 passengers, a 10.65% increase compared to 3,923,034 passengers for the 12 months through January 2023.

“SRQ is pleased to begin 2024 with yet another month of record-breaking achievements, as we experienced a 5% increase in total passengers over January 2023. Looking ahead, we anticipate a consistent growth trajectory, especially with the upcoming surge in spring break travel,” stated Rick Piccolo, President, CEO of the Sarasota Bradenton International Airport.
